Mashup Mondays

Here at slapthebass we’re a sucker for a good mashup.  Every Monday we’ll bring you one of our fav’s for your listening pleasure.

We’ve been meaning to talk about The Knocks for a while, so Mashup Monday is as good as any to start the conversation.  This quirky mashup is great for any occasion, whether you want to brighten up your Monday morning, add it to your party playlist, or use it as funky background music while you relax on a lazy Sunday morning playing OnlinePoker.com on the sofa.

The electronic post-rap band has brought out many catchy hits, including ‘Sunshine’, making it perfect for re mixing.  The producer duo is based out of Lower East Side Manhattan and have been creating stellar remixes and originals for a couple years now.  This week we bring you a chill Knocks mashup combining Daft Punk’s “Something About Us” and Ellie Goulding’s “Under the Sheets”.  Look for The Knocks to be back here with more than just mashups.
