These days there is no shortage of two-man groups making significant music (e.g. MGMT, Black Keys, Death from Above 1979, etc.) The LA duo El Ten Eleven is no exception. Kristian Dunn and Tim Fogarty create intricately layered atmospheric post-rock through the use of a double neck guitar/bass, drums, and a plethora of pedals. Formed in 2003, El Ten Eleven has released four studio albums including last year’s It’s Still Like a Secret. With a sound likened to Explosions In The Sky or Godspeed You! Black Emperor, El Ten Eleven have an exploring sound with half (or less than half) the members. Listen below to two of our favorites off their latest album below.
