A few months ago araabMUZIK dropped a couple tracks foreshadowing that there might be something more on the way.  Fortunately we read the tea leaves correct and today we have a new instrumental mixtape.  For Professional Use Only is a 20-song barrage of beats and samples that picks up right where Electronic Dream left off.  You can download it for free at livemixtapes.com HERE.  Below are two of our fav’s, the Persian sounding “The Prince Is Coming” and the space-grimer “Never Have To Worry”.

You’ll be crazy for these new araabMUZIK tracks!  The master of the MPC recently dropped the upbeat “After Hours” and the ultra-grimy “Runaway Bass”.  Two new instrumentals in a month, is it a sign of a followup to Electronic Dream?  We can only hope.

I will be attending my first Coachella ever this year.  In other firsts, the festival is being held over back to back weekends (April 13-15 and 20-22) with identical lineups.  The three night headliners are The Black Keys, Radiohead, and Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg and as much fun as those sound I’m more excited about all the small font bands (see full poster after the jump).  To start it off two legendary post-hardcore bands, At The Drive-In and Refused, reunite just in time.  Then there’s obviously M83, Explosions in the Sky, Frank Ocean, Bon Iver, araabMUZIK, Childish Gambino…the list goes on.  Coachella has a knack for putting together a cohesive weekend of music spanning genres from rock to hip-hop to electronic to folk.  Listen to the Coachella Playlist below to get hyped if you’re attending and jealous if you’re not.
