Dayve Hawk is set to release the new album from his Memory Tapes project. Below is a taste of the hazey-pop goodness to look forward to. “Wait in the Dark” is full of woozy synthesizers dancing alongside Hawk’s signature vocal delivery. Though it can easily be construed as a upbeat song, there is an undeniable lining of melancholy that gives the darkens the overall ambiance–feels more like “Dance in the Dark” to me. The album entitled Player Piano is out July 5th via Carpark in the US.
