Rating: 7.5/10

As long as I had listened to , I had never had the privilege of buying any of their records on release day. I was introduced to them via my now-wife not long after Change was released and quickly absorbed every second of music I could from them. I was 17 then and their records have provided a soundtrack for my life over the past 12 years. Emergency & I is still one of my all-time favorite albums, earning my rarely doled out “perfect” album ribbon. The Dismemberment Plan Live

No Comments 21 January 2011

Late-90′s indie rockers performed last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon proving they’ve still got it.  The performance was the first stop on a reunion tour in support of Barsuk Records’ reissue of their masterpiece Emergency & I.  Watch them perform “The City” below (via The Audio Perv) and NBC web exclusive clip “What Do You Want Me To Say?” after the jump.  We’d tell you all about their awesome reunion tour but every American date is sold out except Seattle, WA, March 12th.  Start booking flights for Seattle.
