Love stumbling across amazing bands like this.  Swedish trio Postiljonen (no idea how to say that), create indie electronic music with the bombastry of M83 and The Naked and Famous and the delicate dream pop touch of Keep Shelly in Athens.  Their debut album Skyer is a sonic journey suitable for headphones on long a plane ride or an impromptu dance party by the pool.  The record is out now on Best Fit Recordings, get it HERE.

Enjoy the latest track from the 5 piece group from Athens, GA.  The electro rockers upcoming debut LP Body Faucet is set to release May 1, and “Orifice Origami” joins the previous single “Sebastian” in what’s shaping up to be a great summertime record.  I’ll be catching them in Columbus, OH this weekend, along with The Naked and Famous, Walk the Moon, and The Features.  Yeah, it’s gonna suck.

The Naked and Famous are an up and coming synthpop group out of New Zealand.  Taking cues from the likes of MGMT, Passion Pit, and darker acts like How To Destroy Angels, The Naked and Famous have the ability to create mood altering music.  Their debut album Passive Me, Aggressive You contains both songs full of youthful vitality and brooding darkness.  The single “Young Blood” is definitely the former.  ”Young Blood” is an anthem among anthems giving you reason enough to ignore the cooling weather and throw a night pool party.  Passive Me, Aggressive You can be downloaded at their bandcamp site HERE.
