Fav Tracks, New Artist

California Wives caught our attention last year with their Affair EP, especially the track “Blood Red Youth”.  An up and coming outfit out of Chicago the four-piece band has a knack of writing straightforward indie rock without coming across stale or trite.  On their newly released song “Tokyo” we find California Wives favoring their New Order influences creating a beautifully somber sound with a flare of synthpop.  Listen to both “Tokyo” and our favorite from last year “Blood Red Youth”  below and keep an eye for these guys this year.
